Making a Difference
Solving real problems takes real effort, commitment, and vision. Rotarians work to protect communities from preventable disease, keep women and children healthy, improve education and economic outcomes, create safe water and sanitation infrastructure, and make our community and the world a more peaceful place.
We have worked and are working with various partners on many projects including:

- Providing equipment for our local schools - Sunnybank and Calamvale Special Schools, Runcorn, Runcorn Heights, Carinity and Hills College
- Working bees at Autism Qld, Cazna Gardens Retirement Village,
- Citizenship Ceremonies at Calamvale Community College
- Club working trips to Solomon Islands, Tonga and Samoa to rebuild, paint, supply books and equipment for local schools
- Ending polio — Partnering with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the World Health Organization, and UNICEF to end polio, once and for all.
Projects
Between 26th May and 9th June 2018, seven club members together with two guests, travelled to Samoa to refurbish four classrooms and an office area at the Aleisa Primary SchoolOur Samoa project even received some media coverage!Great recognition for Joe Forgione, Brett Fraser and the team.
